The Florida Panthers, the defending Stanley Cup Champions, surely look the part of a repeat winner. The current favorites to win the Cup next month are steamrolling the Carolina Panthers in their Western Conference Finals series. The Florida Panthers didn’t just win the first two games of this series, and they didn’t just win these games on the Carolina Hurricanes’ home ice, but they also outscored the Hurricanes 10-2. Now they head home to Sunrise, Florida, with the opportunity to close out the series without having to hop back on a plane to Raleigh.
And I don’t foresee a letdown from the Panthers in Game 3. They surely aren’t going to let their foot off the gas in front of their home crowd. Plus, Carolina is a weak road team, which will only add to their misery. Florida on the moneyline is the first half of our parlay.
While the Panthers are generally an over team these playoffs, the Hurricanes can’t score, which makes even a total of 5.5 goals seemingly too high. So to complete our winning parlay for tomorrow, we’re taking the under.
