2025 NFL Division Odds: Preview and Best Bets 1v2535
NFC North o1ad
The NFC North may end up being one of the most competitive divisions, and its 2025 NFL division odds show it. The Lions won it last year with a 15-2 record and are this year’s favorites at +134. Detroit didn’t lose many key players and just built depth in the draft. I think they’re a lock to win this division again.
The Packers overpaid free agents and had a questionable draft. After needing help at the wide receiver position, they drafted Matthew Golden in the first round. However, his skill set doesn’t scream wide receiver one. They’re currently +265 to win the division, but I feel they’ll finish third or worse.
The Vikings have the next best odds at +400. They finished 14-3 last year. However, this year, they turn the reins over to J.J. McCarthy after letting Sam Darnold walk in free agency. McCarthy will likely have some learning curves. Head Coach Kevin O’Connell is a really good coach, but this seems like a year they’ll fall backwards.
That brings me to my Bears, who sit last in the division odds at +460. Say what you want about them, the Bears really improved this offseason. They revamped their offensive line and added more weapons for Caleb Williams. I don’t think they can overtake the Lions yet, but I do think they finish second in the division.
2025 NFL Division Odds NFC North pick: Lions (+134)
NFC South it5r
The NFC South is the hardest division to call. The Bucs won it last year and are the current favorites at +104. I think they’ll win it, however, this should come down to the wire. The Bucs are returning all of their stars, and Baker Mayfield is a dog. They finished 10-7 last year, and a similar record feels like it’s loading.
Second in the 2025 NFL division odds is the Atlanta Falcons. They’re +232 after finishing 8-9 last year. Michael Penix will likely get a full season of starting, which should open their offense up more. Not to mention, they made some really nice additions to the defense in the draft. They’re a dark horse to win this division and I don’t mind sprinkling a little on them to win it.
The Panthers made a lot of changes this offseason, but their success starts and ends with Bryce Young. While some out there still think he can succeed, I’m not as convinced. They’re currently +410 to win the division after finishing 5-12 last year.
Last in this division is the Saints at +1000. Derek Carr announced his retirement after the draft, meaning either Tyler Shough, Spencer Rattler, or Jake Haener will start at quarterback this year. Their receiver group is thin, their top offensive player, Alvin Kamara, is aging, and I’m not sure they can turn things around from their 5-12 record last year.
2025 NFL Division Odds NFC South pick: Bucs +104 (with a sprinkle on Falcons)
NFC west 4y432p
The NFC West was a tight race last year. The 49ers are the favorites this year at +154. However, last year they finished last at 6-11. They no longer have Deebo Samuel, and they lost a lot of defensive pieces. I don’t exactly understand why they’re favorites aside from having a very talented head coach. Brock Purdy got paid, but he may not be able to carry their team. CMC also can’t stay healthy.
The Rams are the second-favorites in the division at +179. They won it last year with a record of 10-7. They parted ways with Cooper Kupp in the offseason but brought in Davante Adams. This is the team to beat as long as Stafford stays healthy. They have a solid veteran quarterback, good receivers, a solid running game, a good defense, and a strong head coach.
The Cardinals are third in the 2025 NFL division odds at +460. Marvin Harrison is said to have added muscle and wait after their disappointing 8-9 finish. They focused on upping their defense in the free agency and draft. I don’t think the Cardinals can win this division, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them finish second in it.
The Seahawks are currently last in the division as far as odds go at +540. They brought in Sam Darnold after trading away Geno Smith. They also traded DK Metcalf away. They finished 10-7 last year, but this feels more like a rebuilding timeframe.
2025 NFL Division Odds NFC West pick: Rams (+179)
NFC East 1e6643
The division of the returning Super Bowl Champs, the Philadelphia Eagles, has them as favorites at -142. It’s hard to argue that they’ll win the division again, despite the fact that there’s rarely a repeat winner in this division. They didn’t lose much as far as production, and brought in some good backup players.
The second-best odds belong to the team that finished two games behind the Eagles, the Commanders. Their 2025 NFL division odds currently sit at +204. While they brought in Deebo Samuel, much of their success will be dependent on whether Jayden Daniels can continue his success. They should be solid and make the playoffs again, however, I don’t think they overthrow the Eagles.
The Cowboys are next in the division at +690. They haven’t changed the team much and had a quiet offseason. Micah Parsons isn’t holding out yet, however, he is still seeking a new contract. They traded for wide receiver George Pickens to help out Dak Prescott. However, I still don’t view them better than the Eagles or Commanders.
Last in this division is the Giants at +1975. They will have a new quarterback, regardless of who starts. They brought in Russel Wilson, Jameis Winston, and drafted Jaxson Dart. These are long odds and they should be closer to the Cowboys’ odds, especially with how solid the defense will be with the addition of Abdul Carter.
2025 NFL Division Odds NFC East pick: Eagles (-142)
AFC North 3o1e4c
I hate to set the tone of picking all favorites, but it’s hard not to. For the AFC North, the Ravens finished 12-5. They are returning a very similar team this year and should still remain one of the top competitors in the AFC. They’re currently -144 to win the division.
Behind them is the Cincinnati Bengals, who finished 9-8 last year. They’re one of the hardest teams to pin down in my opinion, especially for 2025 NFL division odds. They paid JaMarr Chase and Tee Higgins this offseason. However, they did not pay their best defensive player, Trey Hendrickson, and now he wants out. I don’t know what to expect from the Bengals, which makes me want to fade them.
The Steelers finished second in the division last year at 10-7. They are currently +560 to win the AFC North, and I’m staying away from them. We don’t know who is even going to be quarterbacking the Steelers. They’re set up for a huge 2026 NFL Draft, but that doesn’t help them this year. Will Aaron Rodgers sign? Will they start Mason Rudolph or rookie Will Howard? Who knows.
Last in the AFC North division is the Cleveland Browns at +3000. They finished 3-14 last year. It’s hard to know what to expect from them as well. They brought back Joe Flacco, traded for Kenny Pickens, and drafted two quarterbacks. They also drafted two new running backs. This is a rebuilding team for them.
2025 NFL Division Odds AFC North pick: Ravens -144
AFC South 5s4c70
The AFC South is one of the more interesting divisions in the AFC as far as determining who may win it. The Texans won last year, finishing 10-7. They’ve lost some protection on their offensive line. They also have moved on from Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell likely won’t play this year. They drafted two wide receivers, however, both out of Iowa State.
The Texans are the only plus-money leaders in the AFC at +111. Next in line is the Jacksonville Jaguars. Trevor Lawrence and company struggled last year, finishing 4-13. I don’t even think they deserve to be second in the 2025 NFL division odds at +275. Therefore, I’m definitely not betting on them to win the division.
The Colts are an interesting dark horse. They have a stud running back in Jonathan Taylor. While they had questions at quarterback last year, this year they brought in Daniel Jones. If Anthony Richardson struggles, Jones will be brought in and will want to prove himself. I don’t mind sprinkling a little bit on them at +350, as I think they’ll finish at least second. They’re my favorites to throw the Texans out of first place.
The Titans drafted Cam Ward, and while I think they’ll improve on their 3-14 record last year, I don’t think they have done enough yet to win the division. They’re +770 right now, but it doesn’t seem worth your money.
2025 NFL Division Odds AFC South pick: Texans +111
AFC East 6m2l57
The AFC East is one of the easiest divisions to call. The Bills dominated it last year, finishing with a record of 13-4. The Dolphins followed at 8-9, the Jets at 5-12, and then the Patriots at 4-13. The Patriots seem to be the most improved team after a really big offseason. Not only did they bring in some top players in the free agency, but they had a very solid draft as well.
New head coach Mike Vrabel should be able to start improving this team right away. However, I don’t think they can overtake the Bills yet. They’re second in division odds right now at +510. The Dolphins didn’t do a whole lot and are third in division odds at +600. The Jets bring up the rear at +1750. They moved on from Rodgers and brought in Justin Fields to be their starter. He’s reunited with wide receiver Garrett Wilson.
Despite the Patriots and Jets making some improvements, I don’t think it was enough to overtake the favorites in the Bills. The Bills sit at -255 right now.
2025 NFL Division Odds AFC East pick: Bills (-255)
AFC West 1i3z1m
The AFC West was more competitive last year than it has been in years past. Still, the Chiefs won it with a 15-2 record. The Chargers were second at 11-6, followed by the Broncos at 10-7. The Raiders brought up the rear at 4-13.
The Chiefs don’t have a lot of changes to speak of, minus losing some offensive line pieces. The Chargers added a new running back in Omarian Hampton and a new receiver. The Broncos added a new running back in R.J. Harvey and also bolstered their secondary.
The Raiders had the most changes. They brought in head coach Pete Caroll and traded for his former quarterback, Geno Smith. They also drafted Ashton Jeanty in the first round. This Raiders team should look a lot different, but was it enough?
The Chiefs sit as the favorites at -11,7 and it’s hard to argue them being the favorites. The Chargers made up the most ground and are at +295. The Broncos are behind them at +310, while the Raiders are bringing up the rear at +1750. This is going to be another competitive division. I don’t mind sprinkling a little on the Chargers, looking at the 2025 NFL division odds, but I think you can’t fade the Chiefs until someone proves they’re vulnerable.
2025 NFL Division Odds AFC West pick: Chiefs (-117)
