Week 11 Fantasy Football Flex Starts Based on TD Opportunity 5v3i2n

Calvin Ridley – WR – Jacksonville Jaguars 2i715e

Sadly, for fantasy managers who drafted Calvin Ridley, he is merely a flex option and the WR43 on the season. Behind an underachieving offensive line, Trevor Lawrence hasn’t had time to see routes develop downfield to Ridley. Even though he ranks No.18 in the NFL in air yards share, he is only No.79 in catchable target rate. Nonetheless, he is due for a bounce-back game against the Tennessee Titans in Week 11.

While Tennessee has been stout against the run in 2023, they have struggled against opposing wide receivers. They have given up the most yards to the X-wide receiver position and rank in the bottom three in big plays allowed downfield as well. Look for him to make some big plays downfield that could lead to a touchdown score. This is a great opportunity for this offense to get back on track, and Ridley should be back in starting fantasy football lineups this weekend.

Jayden Reed – WR – Green Bay Packers 1h5k33

Don’t look now, but the fantasy wide receiver to own in Green Bay is Jayden Reed. He’s accumulated 14 catches for 196 yards over the last three weeks and has been their most impressive receiver. Reed also leads the Packers on the season in yards per game, yards per route run, and yards per target.

After a top-12 wide receiver finish in week 10, he will have an opportunity to build on that performance against the Chargers. They rank No.28 in fantasy points given up to the wide receiver position and have been soft against opposing quarterbacks. Additionally, Reed ranks No.13 in the NFL in red-zone targets and has gotten frequent scoring opportunities. Expect one of Jordan Love’s few remaining strong performances as a result.

Logan Thomas – TE – Washington Commanders 243c25

Logan Thomas is garnering a similar target share that he drew last season in Washington. The difference? Sam Howell leads the league in ing yards and attempts. Despite his inefficiency, he still ranks No.11 in targets and is the TE13 in fantasy points per game. With a healthy amount of red-zone targets already this season, too (6), Thomas is a great streaming option in Week 11.

The main reason is a fantastic matchup against the New York Giants. Despite limiting Howell in their earlier season matchup, they have given up 79 points over their last two games. The defense is devoid of talent, and the offense can’t stay on the field long enough to give them any kind of rest. Expect another big game from Howell and Thomas to score his fourth touchdown of the season.

Rashee Rice – WR – Kansas City Chiefs 56u68

There isn’t a player who has appeared on this list more in 2023, and I’m surprised he doesn’t have more than 4 touchdowns. Before the Chiefs’ Week 10 bye, Rice ranked in the top 12 among wide receivers in red-zone targets. After Travis Kelce, Mahomes has struggled to find players to trust, and Rice has been his next favorite target. Kansas City has struggled in the red zone as a result, too, but that might change this weekend.

Despite an immense amount of talent on the defensive side of the ball, the Eagles’ defense has struggled this season. They rank dead last in both fantasy points and touchdowns per game allowed to the wide receiver position. Expect a get-right game for Mahomes, and that will translate to his new top wide receiver. He’s firmly in my top 30 receivers and a great streaming option.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba – WR – Seattle Seahawks 282o1v

After a slow start to the season, Jaxon Smith-Njigba is beginning to resemble why the Seahawks selected him in the first round. Since Week 6, he has 263 yards, 2 touchdowns, and is averaging 11.9 fantasy points per game. This coincides with a large bump in playing time that he received after Seattle’s Week 5 bye. Smith-Njigba is now a regular part of the offense and is a flex option, depending on Seattle’s matchup.

The Seahawks will square off against the Rams in Week 11, whose stats against opposing wide receivers are misleading. They have a top 10 defense in of fantasy points allowed to the position but have benefited from a soft schedule. Los Angeles has also been generating some of the worst pressure rates in the league, which has been a reason for Geno Smith’s struggles as well. In a week where Smith will throw multiple touchdown es, Smith-Njigba will be a great bet to score.
