Fantasy Football Top 10 RBs bd5h

The guys (@GamblingPodcast) reveal their fantasy football top 10 RBs for 2023. Ryan and Sean list of their best fantasy football RBs plus hot takes on Miles Sanders, Josh Jacobs and Jonathan Taylor.

(5:24) McCaffrey, Ekeler, Barkley, Robinson, Henry, Taylor, Chubb, Harris

McCaffrey had 20 touches per game as he simply is just a production machine, with or without a quarterback. Ekeler though had 19 more targets than McCaffrey and is in a much more prolific offense in the Chargers. One thing to worry about with Ekeler is his contract talks that seem to have trouble. Derrick Henry once again had over 300 attempts last season and should again as the Titans do not have much going on in their offense especially when they get towards the red zone. The Colts have a young gem in Johnathan Taylor who had somewhat of a dud season last year. However, the new offense, play calling, and a running quarterback could open up a lot of opportunities for him.

Saquon only had 3 bust games last year and was able to produce both on the ground and in the air. The offense should take another step forward and the only worry is his less than scandalous contract talks. Nick Chubb is simply a monster in of opportunity and production and now Kareem Hunt isn’t taking his reps. If Deshaun Watson can start to gain more respect and attention, Chubb can operate. Bijan Robinson has made some noise but it shouldn’t be sticking just yet. He has to compete with Tyler Allgeier and the Falcons offense lowkey has a lot of mouths to feed. Najee sneakily had a lot of opportunity last year despite him dealing with a foot injury. Even with Warren in the backfield, if Najee can keep the same number of attempts but add more touchdowns he can really dominate.

(35:14) Stevenson, Mattison, Sanders, Jacobs, Pierce, Conner

Rhamondre had 5.2 targets per game and his targets really ticked up towards the end of the year, helping him finish top 7 in points last year. Despite some backfield competition, he is the best back in the room substantially. Dalvin Cook is out of Minnesota and this opens up a number of goal line carries for Alexander Mattison to capitalize on. Down in Carolina, Miles Sanders is poised to have a big year with less competition taking his carries. Sanders will be the ideal safety net for Bryce Young so there should be plenty of volume.

Josh Jacobs has to prove he can do it again. He was a beast last year even with Davante Adams having some big games at the same time. Pierce should take a big step this in his second year and can easily benefit from being a safety net for a rookie receiver. As of now, Pierce will probably be the focal point of this Texans offense. Conner had 23 targets in a four game stretch after Murray went down. The Cardinals don’t have much to work with offensively so Conner can pop off.
