The Ivy League, SEC, Atlantic 10, AAC, and Big Ten will all crown their tournament champion before we get to Selection Sunday. The good news is that as long as we have a slate, we can build an Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry. We’ve got three projections for today’s action that you’ll want to take before the bracket gets built.

Keep in mind that playing all three legs of our plays in Underdog Fantasy could win you 6X your money on a single entry. Let’s dig into tonight’s plays and to let it ride!

Bez Mbeng Higher Than 5.5 Assists 1e2z6y

You know we’re getting down to the end when we have a Bez Mbeng sighting. Yale meets Cornell in the Ivy League tournament final today. Cornell allows opponents to dish out 15.6 assists per game this year. That’s 330th in the nation. Going higher on the Yale point guard to rack up assists is the side we want to be on.

Bez Mbeng enters this match up averaging 5.9 assists per game. He’s played Cornell twice this year, and went higher than 5.5 assists in both. Mbeng dished out 12 assists on February 8th, and eight assists on February 21st. He’s gone higher than 5.5 assists in three of his last six games.

Mbeng can be boom or bust with assists, but he’s torched Cornell twice this year, and he’s coming off a 1-assist game against Princeton. Let’s ride with Mbeng to continue to succeed as Yale punches their ticket to The Big Dance. Lock up Mbeng to go higher than 5.5 assists in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for March 16th.

Felix Okpara Higher Than 6.5 Rebounds 3a5b2y

Tennessee faces off against Florida in the SEC tournament championship today. The Florida Gators enter this game allowing opponents to average 33.9 rebounds per game. That’s 148th in the nation. Tennessee big man Felix Okpara is the side we want to take here.

Okpara comes into this game averaging 6.2 rebounds per game this year. He’s gone higher than 6.5 rebounds in five of his last seven games played this year. Okpara played against Florida twice this year, and went higher than 6.5 boards in both games. He racked up seven rebounds on January 7th, and eight rebounds on February 1st.

Okpara has a track record of success against the Gators, and the trend is on his side. On a short slate, this is one of the better projections available. Let’s ride with Okpara to go higher than 6.5 boards in our Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.

Jalen Haynes Higher Than 2.5 Turnovers 3z443n

George Mason draws VCU in the Atlantic 10 conference tournament final today. Patriots big man Jalen Haynes enters this game averaging 2.3 turnovers per game this year. VCU generates 13.8 turnovers per game. That’s 45th in the nation. Haynes could be in for a rough afternoon.

Haynes has gone higher than 2.5 turnovers in five of his last seven games. One of those games was his only match up against VCU. Haynes turned the ball over four times on February 22nd. He’s also coming off a six-turnover semifinal game against St. Joseph’s yesterday.

VCU’s defense is the nastiest in the A-10 conference, and they’ve already faced Haynes once and tied him in knots. Haynes is a capable big man in most match ups, but this one will prove a little too tough. You’ll want to lock in Haynes to go higher than 2.5 turnovers for your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for March 16th.
