Tre Harris (WR) Ole Miss Rebels 666i42

Injury: Undisclosed Injury
Injury Date: 10/19/2024
Expected Recovery Timeline: 2-3 weeks
Player Year: RS Senior

Let’s kick off this Week 13 college football injuries article off with some good news. Arguably the best receiver in the country has been off the field the past few weeks but coming off a bye week, this stands to change. Ole Miss standout WR Tre Harris has been mesmerizing this season with his smooth releases and ridiculous catches. He jumped out to an early lead in receiving yards around the country, but an undisclosed injury disrupted that plan.

His focus now shifts to helping his team reach the College Football Playoff and eventually a National Championship. The Rebels have to get through the Florida Gators first and they’ll have their most talented WR available to do it. Harris is officially off the injury report and will be going up against a Florida defense that is missing several starters in their secondary. Ole Miss QB Jaxon Dart also used the bye week to get healthier and should be coming into Saturday close to 100%.

Cam Skattebo (RB) Arizona State Sun Devils 1u6e3o

Injury: Shoulder Injury
Injury Date: 11/2/2024
Expected Recovery Timeline: 1-2 weeks
Player Year: Senior

Cam Skattebo is simply a player who is one of one. He is virtually the entire Arizona State offense this year as he leads the team in rushing by 700 yards and is second on the team in receiving. He also has a combined 13 touchdowns in just eight games. Thankfully for Arizona State fans, there is good news on this college football Week 13 injury report.

After missing Week 11 with a shoulder injury, Skattebo returned to the field last Saturday after being questionable all week. Racking up over 100 total yards, he was a key piece for the Arizona State offense to pull off the upset at Kansas State. Skattebo was absolutely toughing it out and fighting through some pain last week. I expect him to be even healthier this week as Arizona State takes on BYU in a game that will help decise the Big 12 Champtionship.

Tez Johnson (WR) Oregon Ducks 3v351r

Injury: Shoulder Injury
Injury Date: 11/2/2024
Expected Recovery Timeline: 2-4 weeks
Player Year: Senior

The Oregon Ducks are the number 1 team in the country and the last thing their fans want to see is their name on this Week 13 college football injuries article. However, I bring some good news. Senior WR Tez Johnson was knocked out of the game three weeks ago with a shoulder injury and seen in a sling post-game. Despite the optics not looking great, it’s been reported that the injury is NOT season ending.

These reports were confirmed this week as Johnson took to Instagram to announce his return to practice. Oregon is on bye this week but Johnson returning to the field is a HUGE boost for this team and their hopes for a National Championship. He is their best WR who leads the team in all receiving categories. He will have the Washington game next week to knock some rust off before he will be relied on in the Big Ten Championship game.

Kyron Drones (QB) Virginia Tech Hokies 5o2331

Injury: Undisclosed Injury
Injury Date: 11/9/2024
Expected Recovery Timeline: 2-4 weeks
Player Year: Junior

The Virginia Tech Hokies season has been a rollercoaster. The year started off with a ton of preseason hype and reality quickly set in, in the form of Vanderbilt. Much of the Hokies season has been tied into the next player on this Week 13 college football injuries article. Junior QB Kyron Drones has been battling an undisclosed injury most of the season and comes into another week questionable.

Drones left the Clemson game with an injury late but the expectation was that he would be okay after the team’s bye week. This may not be the case however, as Drone reportedly is still missing practice time for injury rehab. Drone’s status is squarely in the air but it is clear the injury is still affecting him. If he does play, I would expect Drones to be limited on the road against a solid Duke defense.

Injury: Arm Injury
Injury Date: 11/16/2024
Expected Recovery Timeline: 2-4 weeks
Player Year: Senior

This Texas A&M team is lead by their defense and rushing attack. Whether due to a weak QB room or WR room, the ing offense has not been a strong suite for this team. Unfortunately, things will not get easier as they are losing a starting WR in Cyrus Allen for the rest of the season. He suffered a significant injury to his arm and is officially done for the year. Allen is currently the 3rd leading WR averaging 15 yards a catch.

Diego Pavia (QB) Vanderbilt Commodores 1m663n

Injury: Undisclosed Injuries
Injury Date: 10/26/2024
Expected Recovery Timeline: 1-2 weeks
Player Year: Senior

The man, the myth, the legend. Diego Pavia has become a stable of these college football injury reports. Although he is actually on SEC injury reports, this is mostly to highlight just how much of a gamer this guy is. This Week 13 college football injuries article is blessed enough to have Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavia make an appearance. He is leading Vanderbilt to its best season in decades and leads the team in both ing and rushing by a wide margin.

Despite taking hit after hit, Pavia keeps going. He is again reported to be banged up this week but will play on Saturday. It sounds like he’s more hurting than injured, and he will be able to play through the pain. A tougher player than most, Pavia is one of the few QBs I would trust to perform in this situation. Coming off the bye week, I also expect him to be healthier than he has been the past few games.
