F1: Dutch Grand Prix Odds and Best Bets 6e474u
F1 returns amid their most exciting points battles in a few seasons. Max Verstappen leads Lando Norris by 78 points in the drivers’ championship battle, as Norris has been making sweeping gains over the last few Grand Prix.
The Constructors battle is the most heated one, with Red Bull holding just a 42-point lead over the red-hot McLaren team. Max Verstappen has won his home race the last three seasons since the race returned to the schedule in 2021 after a 36-year absence.
Odds to Win m6w5s
Max Verstappen +165
Lando Norris +175
Oscar Piastri +550
Lewis Hamilton +850
George Russell +1100
Charles Leclerc +2000
Carlos Sainz +2000
Sergio Perez +3500
Lewis Hamilton Podium Finish (+150) 4j251d
The 7-time champion went on a 50-race winless streak that spanned 945 days and dated back to Saudi Arabia in 2021. Three races ago at Silverstone, Hamilton ended that winless streak and now has two wins over the last three races in his final season with Mercedes before moving on to Ferrari.
Hamilton has been one of the most consistent drivers in 2024, with a top-four finish in his last six straight Grand Prix races. Mercedes found something down the stretch of the first half of the season, with their drivers winning three of the last four races on the schedule. Yet Hamilton isn’t being respected by books like Verstappen and the two McLaren drivers, which gives us tremendous value here.
Lance Stroll Points Finish (+165) 1r5st
Lance Stroll catches a lot of flak for his father owning the team, but when you look at his performances, while they can be hit or miss when he’s on, he’s on. Over the last three Grand Prix, Stroll has finished in the points twice, with an 11th-place finish in Belgium. Through the 14 rounds, the Canadian driver has six points finishes and nine times has been within three spots of cashing in the points.
In three of the last four Grand Prix, Stroll has outperformed teammate and former world champion Fernando Alonso, yet Alonso remains at -225 for a points finish. Betting on F1 is a big game of finding what value you can, and Stroll offers that this weekend in the Netherlands, where he’s finished in the top 11 two years in a row and 12th in 2021.
Lewis Hamilton to Win (+850) 5a4h34
You can make a strong case for any of the top six drivers to win this race, which is why Formula One Racing is so entertaining. Lewis Hamilton, however, has won two of the last three races. At the same time, Belgium was awarded to him after teammate George Russell was disqualified.
One could argue that Hamilton had the best car on the day; Russell just executed a better strategy. At the top of the board, it’s a coin flip between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris. However, looking farther down, Hamilton offers so much value for all the above reasons.
