Will Anderson provides everything you want from an edge defender. He had an impressive 71 tackles for loss and 39 combined sacks showing he has an outstanding all-around skillset. While at Alabama, he was widely recognized as one of the best, if not the best defensive player in the country.
Second on Alabama’s career sacks list with 34.5 (-201 yards), trailing only Derrick Thomas

Rush Defense – Anderson is seen as one of the best rush defenders on the edge this season. With a massive number of tackles for loss in his career at Alabama and the second-highest PFF grade on rush defense out of anyone in the power five.
Dip Ability – Can really get below blockers on the edge. This is especially good when he pairs it with his spin move.
Quickness – Anderson has a good first step which has allowed him to beat defenders relatively easily. Couple this with his dip move, and he has a good combination to create a good rush at the next level.

Missed Tackles – Anderson does get sloppy at times, trying to tackle with power instead of wrapping them up. This has led to a pretty significant missed tackle rate.
Knocked Off – Good offensive tackles will completely control him. He is easily knocked off his with bigger and longer tackles.
Disengagement – When a tackle gets his hands on Anderson, he struggles to disengage. The top tackles did make it difficult for him. Just watch him against Darnell Wright.
