If you’re in a dynasty league, everyone is investing in the 2023 draft class, but do you even know who is in the class? Not all of us watch college football and not everybody is a Devy player. The 2020 and 2021 draft classes spoiled us with talent, however, the 2022 class remains to be seen. The verdict right now is that it was a very down year. Hopefully, these players can prove us wrong though. The bar has been set pretty high by the previous two classes and the expectations are through the roof for the 2023 class. Let’s take a look! C.J. Stroud is the top Quarterback in my 2023 rookie rankings. This class is deeper at the position than any class in a long time. There could be up to 5 Quarterbacks drafted in the 1st round next year. C.J. Stroud is the top guy for me though with Bryce Young close behind him. To start, Stroud is a more developed er and has a prototypical build. Stroud burst onto the scene last year as a freshman. There were games where he was flat-out dominant. Stroud threw for 44 touchdowns in 12 games and almost 4,500 yards. Additionally, Stroud left early in 5 games where the Buckeyes got a large lead. Stroud is projected to be the #1 overall pick next year and he would have gone in the top 2 of this year’s draft. Here is the rest of my top 5 Quarterbacks

The top Running Back in my 2023 rookie rankings is currently Bijan Robinson. Bijan is already a star with a huge NIL deal with Lamborghini. Bijan has the prototypical size of an NFL Running Back, and his receiving ability is fantastic. Furthermore, Robinson has averaged 12 yards per reception and 6.5 yards a carry so far in his college career. Scouts praise Robinson for his vision and patience as a runner. He also is nimble and shows great elusiveness once he gets to the second level as well. Bijan has broken a whopping 79 tackles on only 195 carries. My number one Wide Receiver is Jaxon Smith-Njigba, or JSN for short, as he looks to be the next great receiver out of Ohio State. His ability to stand out as a Wide Receiver in a draft full of 1st round picks is even more impressive. He is playing with my top Quarterback and is set to build off a monster Sophomore season. His skill set to work both inside and outside as a receiver sets him apart. Per PFF College Twitter, Smith-Njigba had a 90.2 position grade in 2021. This is the highest by an Ohio State Wide Receiver since 2014. This all while being on the same field as 2 future first-round picks (Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson). Michael Mayer is my top Tight End in the 2023 NFL Draft class. Mayer is another one of PFFs favorite prospects. “Mayer is the rare Tight End prospect who’s NFL ready as a true sophomore” -Mike Renner. Mayer’s ability as a blocker and a receiver has him as a projected first-round pick. The 2021 class did not have any first-round Tight Ends, so this will be a welcome change for dynasty managers. Mayer runs routes like a Wide Receiver and gets off the line quickly. He is a willing and powerful blocker as well in the ing game.
