The Growlers are coming into this game on a five-game winning streak. Their last loss? To the Dallas Roughnecks. Meanwhile, the Roughnecks are sporting their own winning streak of four wins. These two teams couldn’t be more evenly matched, splitting the season series at one game apiece. The Growlers and Roughnecks, respectively, rank 8th and 9th in offensive efficiency, 10th and 9th in turnovers committed, and 10th and 11th in goals per game. This AUDL game will feature two of the more dominant defenses in the playoffs and league. The edge goes to the Union’s offense, as they have committed the least amount of turnovers per game throughout the season. Thus, I like Chicago to cover. And with these defenses, I like under the total of 39 goals as a bonus lock.

The DC Breeze head to Tampa to make up for a postponed game from Week 11. The Breeze are attempting to seal home-field advantage for next week’s playoff game. They are coming off a daring double-overtime win over Raleigh, including a layout block that saved the game! DC has a lot of swagger in their favor as one of the hottest defenses, giving up only 15.5 goals per game in their last 6. Additionally, the last time they played Tampa they only gave up 10 goals! The spread at -3 seems way too small. Give me DC laying the points.
